24 February, 2025Star Robotics, a pioneer in mobile robotics for autonomous inspection and surveillance, prides itself on being one of the few companies with 24/7 operational robot fleets. With more than 25 customers, including industry leaders such as Telefonica, Repsol, Aramco, ExxonMobil, Tecnicas Reunidas, Securitas, BRIC Campus and Guident, among others, Star Robotics continues to establish itself as a trusted provider of advanced robotics solutions.
During his keynote address at CES, NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang highlighted the transformative potential of robotics, stating: ‘The consumer robotics revolution is coming, and it will transform our lives.’ He stressed that advances in artificial intelligence and robotics will transform industries and improve operational efficiency. Star Robotics is at the forefront of this revolution, offering innovative solutions that address real challenges.
At CES 2025, Star Robotics will showcase its flagship product, the Watchbot, in the LVCC, North Hall - Booth 8255, giving attendees a first-hand demonstration of its innovative capabilities.
Thanks to its built-in artificial intelligence, the Watchbot can detect and alert to intrusions, anomalies or events, as well as identify leaks, the status of objects or the conditions of an area. These capabilities, integrated with AUROS fleet management software, make the Watchbot a versatile solution for multiple industries, including combined cycle plants, biogas plants, nuclear facilities, landfills, electrical substations, the chemical industry, museums and art galleries, shopping centres, airports, offices and water treatment plants.
The Watchbot is designed to operate in the most demanding environments. It can travel on unstable surfaces, climb slopes of up to 40 degrees, overcome gaps of up to 30 centimetres and operate in extreme temperatures of -30 to 45 degrees Celsius. In addition, its rugged all-terrain wheels make it adaptable to a wide variety of terrains. Equipped with advanced autonomous navigation and eight integrated cameras, including a thermal and a night vision camera that provide 360-degree vision, the Watchbot offers cutting-edge real-time performance.
‘Our mission has always been to develop robotic solutions that solve real-world problems in a scalable and sustainable way,’ said Angel Alejandre, CEO of Star Robotics. ‘With our entry into the US market and our participation at CES, we are not only showcasing our capabilities, but also demonstrating how autonomous robotics can redefine industries and contribute to a more efficient and innovative future.’
Star Robotics’s participation at CES 2025 marks a significant step in its global expansion as the company continues to lead the way in autonomous robotics innovation.
